Just for info purposes. I got My U-bolt conversion 8.25 yoke from justdifferentials.com. It was pretty pricey but very well made. They don't show them on the site. You have to ask about them.

I grenaded a u joint leaving a quick stop parking lot. Not that hard to do with stock gears, big tires and a touch of power.

Old u joint plus some decent angle. My pinion is set 2* lower then the angle of the t case. Fact is it happens. And with big tires on stock gears they take a lot of extra stress.
