I've been pleased as all get out with Detour's product. Not advertised on his site, he does have A pillar light brackets for ZJs as well. I called in my order and he happened to have the ZJ brackets in stock. So I got them quick.

I used the Harbor Freight KC lookalike lights. They are actually pretty good, but they should be painted as they rust far too readily. I'm replacing them with some Hella 500s.

X2 on the Detours A-Pillar brackets. I've had them for about 6 months and I love them.

Update:

I received the light brackets from Ares Fabrication. The light brackets came unpainted (as advertised) and are very well made. The rest of my jeep may fall apart, but these brackets will probably survive Armageddon.

Here is a picture of them mounted. I like the mounting system. It uses something called a "nut-sert" which is similar to a rivet, but will allow you to disassemble and reassemble.

Here is a picture of them mounted.

I didn't care much for the purchasing experience, but the product is outstanding.

guys I see this on forums every day, if you don't get a response or reply within a day or 2 or even 5 file a complaint, because once they freeze that account, they have to ship or lose the money.
Don't wait on filing, most cases you only have 30 days to do it.

Glad you guys are getting taken care of, I really wanted one of his bumpers also, but went a different route

Can you post more pictures of the led lights on the a-pillar mounts? Im curious how they work with the xj's body lines but haven't been able to find many good pictures of that setup online

Either with Paypal or with your credit card company, whichever way you paid.

For myself, if they only take Paypal, they don't get my money.
