hey guys I have bout an hour and a half before my girlfriend gets home and ends jeep time, so I'm trying to get my compass working in a 96 jeep cherokee I got the overhead console out of an older model jeep not really sure what year but I have 5 wires left remaining out of the harness, question is what color wire powers the over head console the wires I have left for orange with black stripe, blue with orange stripe, black with green stripe, purple with light blue stripe, and black with light blue.

Any help would be great, a full harness layout or just those wires, either way I would really appreciate it. thanks.

Answer t 10 wedge, same as third brake light for the lights*

I feel ya bud. Girlfriend gets off work, gota stop working on the Jeep. BUT! Ive learned that if you say its not driveable, it usually buys me another couple hours!

As for your problem, i have no advise. Sorry. haha

I found out its not geting power its geting ground so I'm gonna wire it up and see if it works ha ha I even found the wire color but won't have time to do it till Thursday night ha ha, I guess ill also post the wire color when I do it so people will no later on
