Default Opinions on lift plan

I use my xj for a hunting/dd. I do some trails. I am thinking I am wanting to do the 2" old man emu coil and leaf springs. I have some jk rubicon shocks with bar pin eliminators that I am wanting to use until I can get some bilsteins. From what i understand the shocks are good for 3" of lift. This seems the right thing for me as I do not want to go any higher and my goal is to fit 31's. just wanting some opinions due to the fact I have looked at a bunch of lifts and am sort of brain dead from all of the info. What do you guys think? Will I need a new track bar?

Thank you in advance...

with the OME springs, id get OME shocks. the JK ones will work well in the meantime. if you can afford it, i'd get a new trackbar. your stock one is probably worn out anyway, and itll make the front end of the jeep feel tighter.

+1 this.

Bilsteins in my opinion for a hunting rig is overkill. But if thats the case, I'd take still take the OME shocks and run those until you can afford the Bilsteins, or hop on rockauto and check out their selection of dirt cheap shocks.

While you're under there you'll be wanting some other new parts to freshen things up and increase reliability anyway.
