Default OME rear leaf packs. I think I bought the wrong ones

We have a car show get together thing every Saturday night. A guy in a lifted XJ was there and had some brand new OME leafs he was selling. They are

CS033RA

The problem I am having is: Everywhere I look, I read that they are a medium duty spring and that is fine but I keep reading between 2.5-4" of lift.

I'm only wanting to lift my rig 3.5" in the front and 3" in the rear to lift and level it. I'm wanting to buy some front coils but now I don't know what height to order. I'd prefer to have it all here and install everything at once instead of installing the rears then ordering the fronts.

My other concern is if I have a couple of people, a full tank of gas and some guns and ammo in the cargo area, am I going to be bouncing off the load springs?

Sounds to me like you bought the exact ones you need. Order some 3.5" coils. And you would be fine with some people/gear. It would get overloaded with armor and skids and whatnot.

You bought the right ones for sure, ive had mine (CS033RA) loaded up with people and gear as well as a boat trailer and the leafs were sitting at 3"+ lift height. After a year of having them on, they still sit at around 4-4.25" with a full tank of gas, otherwise empty, stock shackles. The only way you'd be near 2.5" is if you removed the one leaf that they say you can on the ARB OME website.

I'm thinking of buying those same leaf packs and Rusty's 3" coils. As EvstaG said you can remove one of the leafs. I was told removing the one leaf will make it ride smoother, and drop you to about 3-3.5"

The rear should ride higher than the front on all XJ 4wd's.

Why do you say that? I've always thought the back was supposed to sit a CH lower
