Still following, still care. Called Dirk a few weeks ago, he spent a good 30 to 45 minutes on the phone with me. I'll be ordering the 2.5" kit pretty soon.

Sweet! Us OME guys gotta stick together! LOL! Doesn't seem like there are many out there.

Obviously, I haven't gotten all of my kit (let alone get it installed), but just based on customer service so far, Dirk is the man! Yesterday I sent him pictures of the chewed up mounting bolt for the track bar, and within an hour, he had contacted JKS then JKS contacted me directly, and I should have a new one in my hands today. That's just one example, and not to mention the 1.5+ hours we've talked on the phone in just two conversations. So far, very satisfied!

Triplets, when did you get your kit, and how long have you had it on?

Ordered my OME 2.5" Ultimate Lift from Dirk on Thursday. One to 2 weeks for delivery. Can't wait to get this project off the ground (pun intended). Since I'm not doing the install, not sure how many pix I'll get of the process, but will definitely have some of the result.

Nice! I received all my parts by this past Thursday. I'd add a picture, but it's so damn cold here in Detroit and I don't have anywhere to lay it all out. Can't wait for it to get warmed up so I can get this started! So pumped!

So, I am leaning toward the OME 2.5 lift for my 01 XJ. Only wheeling it on the beach, no trails. Mainly a mall crawler for my daughter. Why would I need Sway-Bar disco's, straps, and new bump stops? I was hoping to just get springs, coils, shocks, and adjustable track bar. The complete kit from DPG looks great, but is it overkill?

Ask Dirk, he'll give you an honest expert answer. My novice opinion is that you're correct. Those extra items are not essential for your planned driving.

Have any of you guys with the 3.5" kit noticed the rear and squatting I little, I have had mine for about 2 years and noticed it. Is it meant to do that or do leafs just do that over time. Thanks

Yeah, Dirk's the man, and he will give you an honest answer. Disco's will be nice in the chance that you do go offroad, it will allow you to flex a bit more. Bumpstops keep you from smashing your fenders with your wheels if your out flexing.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "straps" though.

Triplet, I do know that they will settle a little bit over time. Do you have the standard 3.5" leafs or the 4.5" leafs with one removed? As you all know, I don't have my lift on yet so I can't say, but Dirk did tell me the rear will settle a little bit. I would recommend a small lift shackle or shackle relocation brackets. That would get you sitting level again, plus if you went with relocation brackets, you would have a good shackle angle.

It's the medium duty 3.5" kit not 4.5. And I was looking at some shackle relo bit they say they lift it 1.5 inches
