Question Okay so heres the deal...

I'm using the 4.5 inch coils from rustys and I have a 2" spacer on top of that. The problem is I am still using the control arms from the 4.5" kit which gives me a really steep angle, and have extreme death wobble only when I hit a bump at fast speeds. I plan on buying the rough country drop kit tonight, and I'm wondering if this should fix my problem, I'm in college and poor so I don't want to waste money.

I'm sorry and I know there have been a hundred threads reguarding death wobble and I've read almost all of them but havent seen any reguarding this.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated and thank you!

They might help but you won't know until you do it. Long arm's are the better route but if money is tight that should get you by.

the bracket will help with the angles issues but will not cure the death wobble .Death wobbles are caused by worn parts read this should shed alittle light http://kevinsoffroad.com/techarticles/deathwobble.html

How old is the lift. at 6.5 they tend to eat control arm bushings pretty quick. That was my death wobble

You could take the spacers out and see if that gives you any less death wobble. Checking all the components is better than putting new ones on and praying they fix the problem.

Yes, i am all stock steering except for the steering stabilizer and lower control arms, if that counts. I'm gonna be purchasing a new set of adjustable lower control arms tomorrow from Rough Country. Hopefully it will re-center my axle and after I get an alignment the death wobble will disappear.
