This is the same guy who wanted to make an adjustable trac bar using a socket and a piece of black pipe, none of what he's planning is safe and I wouldn't give anymore opinions or advice until he wises up and realizes just how much he's risking the lives of himself and others with his "fab" work. It's ok to fab up some parts for your Jeep, but just that he thinks it's ok to weld 2 3" lift blocks together and then to the axle proves that he has no idea how to build a lift correctly and how horribly dangerous that is!

Sad thing is... its not even his rig its going on. Some guy is wanting to pay him lots of money for a half-assed lift with parts that will most likely be jimmy-rigged in one way or another.
I think that the best advice has already been given. Tell the guy to keep his money, buy a smaller lift and get tires/wheels and go have fun. Vehicles are dangerous enough as is with all the idiots on the road... couple that with a vehicle that isn't properly lifted = primetime news.
