I am a big fan of Baja lights. theyre just the generic wallmart style lights, but amazing quality. I run 4 out of 8 AUX lights as Bajas. you can do some really cool things with them by replacing wiring with heavier gauge, and bumping up to 100W!

i don't have any lights on my xj, but both tj's have kc dayliters on windshield mounts.
i also like pro comp or hella's, or if money wasn't an object, then some warn lights.
cheapies also work good for the money, but you have to use your own wiring ideas, where as a good set comes with the harnesses, relays and switch needed.

I like Pro Comps. I seen some Eagle Eye's in JcWhitney the other day. 100w and like 30 bucks for two. Pretty good price.

just because the lights are expensive doesnt mean they are any brighter, most of the time you are paying for the name. I bought a pair of hella 700ffs for 90 bucks, then one cracked and they wouldnt sell me a single light they said i had to buy both, yea.. forget that. So i went out and bought six 6" round Pilot navigator lights at 30 bucks a pair they cost me the same price as just one pair of hellas. and imo, they are just as bright and i changed out the bulbs on the 2 on my bumper and they are even brighter then the hellas were. theres pics of the lights in my album

i tried to do a lot of shopping around before i ordered my lights. i went with 100w vision-x lights. for $120 i can't really tell any difference between these and $220 100w KCs.

I have four procomp 130w lights and they are as bright as can be. I've been running them for over a year now and they have no rust which is amazing considering I live right by the beach. I believe they are only around $30 a piece well worth it in my opinion. The only thing I can complain about with these lights are the rubber around the lense is cracking.
