who can tell me if the NSG370 from a late model wrangler will fit
(bolt on) to my 4.0?????
i can get the BS done later i just would like to know if its worth my time to buy cuz i like the idea of the 6 speed. but i want to know it will hook up to my motor.

 

Get one from a 4.0 tj it will bolt right on your engine.

 

what year am i looking for? or does it matter?

 

It was only in the tj 2 years 05 and 06.It did carry over in to the jk but thats a v6 engine it won't work,Same thing about one from a liberty it won't work either.Any reason you want a 6 speed over a 5 speed?

 

im putting together blue prints for a street jeep. somthing fast and off the beatin path of your typical lifted 4x4. the 6 speed has low and high gear ratios that the AX-15 doesnt have. and the 6th gear will work well with the 3.07 ring and pinion set up (i think) lol got the insperation from the jeep XJ-R i seen.

 

If you do it take some pictures of the swap.
