JCR makes one, but you gotta get rid of the drop.

this JC one looks nice - big... but covers a lot!

-- edit: Also - with those long bolt-slots on the sides, maybe you don't need to 'get rid of the drop'?

Is anyone running the skid row. Is this drill and tap on any of these. Jcr looks like some kind of plug with threads.

When i lifted my xj with 242 Tcase, i needed to drop the Tcase but also wanted a better skid plate than cheesy stock one.
Bought this from Rusty's. Easy to install. Only issue was their 1" crossmember drop needed an offset tranny mount for my 2k xj which Rusty's sent at no cost. Not that expensive either and works great.

Edit2: After re-looking at the website, i believe a 1" drop cross member is used in conjunction with the below skid plate.
You might want to give Rust's a call if you're interested. Wish my memory was better.

I've got the rusty's setup (for the 231). Looks great, and gives a bit of a "tummy tuck" keeping everything flat underneath. I've come down on the engine, tranny and x-fer case a lot on the trails, held up really well.

One note about the Rusty's products I have. Their powdercoat is not the best, and i have removed all the powder coating and painted. I would recommend ordering without powder coating and paint yourself. Might not be an issue for you non salt road Jeepers.

I'm in DE and my crossmember from them still looks just as good when it is washed once a year

Must just be our salty winters here in Ohio. Our mud tends to be higher acidity too. Glad to hear the finish holds up good elsewhere.

Self-tapping screws = rust, ...and probably soon

-- unless you disassemble, paint, re-assemble
