Default NP231 input shaft delema

So I have a 94YJ 231 that was connected to an auto 32RH that has a SYE that i was goona swap into my 92 XJ build (AW4) and looking at the Novak chart thought I was gonna maybe have to get a seal extension for the tranny. Turns out the YJ T case has a longer shaft and measuring the disatnce in the AW4 it looks like it'll barely clear but there's a nub (tranny part, IDK) in there thats will interfere wth the shaft. I may have to just end up getting a SYE for the AW4? Any advice? https://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledg...g-input-gears/ Almost rather not tear apart both t cases to swap parts, I know thats an option.

I was thinking it was the TF999 but according to my build sheet it's the 32RH

You should be able to swap the input shafts.

SYE for the AW4 ?? or for the original tcase that was on the AW4 ??

You may be better off doing the SYE on the original t-case & resell the one you have from the YJ.....plus you can do a basic rebuild at the same time and have essentially a new t-case.

To swap the input shafts, you're gonna have to go into both tcases like you said anyways, so the SYE on the original would be less work.

The shaft seal extension may work, but I've never done that, so nothing to say good or bad there.

I think this is the route I'm gonna take, don't feel like taking apart 2 cases.
