Default Novak cable linkage issues

I have this thing almost on and the shift lever hits the tranny bracket Novak thinks my tcase is clocked high but I don't see how that causes this issue I have a np242 t case and what they believe is an aw4 tranny I'm not sure do I have the bracket mounted in the right place I have the selec trac 242 w part time 4wd I feel like I have installed it wrong

The tranny bracket stops it from moving forward

Did you figure out how to fix this? I have the exact same problem, my Shifter lever is hitting the transmission bracket.

Couldn't ever figure it out bro I got deployed so haven't had time to mess with it I bought a factory linkage used and a rebuild kit for it sad I wasted $200 and Novak was pretty unhelpful hope you can figure it out man if you do let me know sorry I couldn't help

NP231 and NP242 are the same linkage.

Same style yes same exact linkage that would be a negative ghost rider trust me I pulled an old linkage off a 231 and it is In fact shorter and would not work

NP231 and NP242... like the Froelich one the center is just threaded rod. You can adjust if required

Had I not given Novak over $200 for a linkage that doesn't work and they were unhelpful to resolving my issue I won't be spending my money with them anymore I have a rebuild kit for my stock linkage preciate the advice though I'm just done with that company
