not to stray off topic....but this exactly what i want to do, but unsure if it would improve ride....love where the tires sit in the wheel well....did u have to lengthen the DS, or have any issues with it??

Raised, and eye balled where the sway bar kinda sits usually.

nope. it now has 2.5" axle stretch and this is my pinion angle at ride height with 7.25"

not too bad on the bucket locations, but that pinion angle will be WAY off from the looks of it. probably will want to lengthen that top link a couple turns and see where it leaves you. remember that the pinion should be pointing directly into the DS at ride height for the front, like what you can see on 96_xj's picture above
