Default No spark, can't trace the problem.

Alright, so I recently put a 94 4.0 l6 in my 89 Cherokee limited body. When to start it and it cranks but no start. Checked the coil and I'm getting no spark, tested the wires going into the coil, the yellow wire in the first most left plug is hot (live positive) when the key is on and that's the only hot wire at all on it. So I looked it up earlier and it said dirty connections and bad CPS can cause no spark. Brand new cps, used some QD electric connection cleaner and still no spark. Tested the ohms on cps (199 ohms) tested the voltage and a few settings on the multimeter (each general setting got a sub setting, alternating current has 2000, 200, 20 believe one more but idk) were reading nothing but others were reading little voltage spikes. So I'm like that's good, plugged it back in and called it a night after testing spark again. Any help is much appreciated, in case you got lost in that, 89 body with 94 engine, cranks with no spark at the coil.

Which flywheel/flexplate did you use?

If not from the 89, it will never start.

Here's a guide I wrote up for doing the swap that you did. Review it and see if it helps.
