Alot of people run nitro 4.88s for the 8.25 rear considering they are the only ones who make them. Had a friend though that got a set out of specs and had to send them back for replacements. He had a hell of a time with their customer service. Im sort of in the same boat on nitro. I want to run 4.88 gears but not sure i want to use nitro gear. They do have a 2 year warranty on their r&p sets though.

I have a set of their 4.88's front and rear. No issues with them what so ever. I probably have over 5k miles on them since installed.

I am running Nitro gears, and shafts. Sad to say the reason why I dont run Yukon, and Alloy USa/tenfactory is I broke their Made in america stuff with less then 10 rides on them.

I dont care how good your warranty is when I am out wheeling and your crap fails... It sucks.

i run them in my front 44.

no complaints.

i HATE thier master install kits however. they come with a limited amount of shims and limited thicknesses.
