Hey guys, new to the forum, and fixing to start my first XJ lift on my 98
Cherokee Sport.
I have salvaged a complete Trailmaster lift kit off a Jeep Comanche pickup. I think it was around an 88 model.
The lift came with the front coils, front sway bar drop mounts, front upper and lower control arm drop brackets.
I also got the rear leaf packs, but have already discovered that they are about 5" longer than my XJ leafs, but I am hoping to take my stock XJ main leaf and some of the MJ rear leafs to get the lift for the rear on my XJ.
My main question is:
Will the Trailmaster front control arm drop brackets fit into the pockets on my XJ frame and bolt up properly.
I am probably going to try to purchase new RC brace brackets and weld them onto the Trailmaster CAD brackets since the ones I got did not have the additional rear section braces.
I am running on a tight budget on this project and since I have already spent the money on this TM lift I would like to use all or most of it if at all possible.
Any advice or help on this is greatly appreciated.

From the drivers seat forward nearly everything from an MJ will fit most of the rear half also. Except the frame or bed. Good find on the Trailmaster Kit. In case you didn't know the drop bracket are the same as the Rubicon Express ones. the rubi braces are direct fit, the RC barce could be made to fit, or just fab your own.

Sweet. I was hoping they were the same. I will try to source the RE braces then since they are direct fit matches to the TM drop brackets.
Thanks for the info., this will help me out in getting my lift on and my rig back up and running.
