I agree with you because that is one good looking Jeep, and definitely looks like it will take me wherever I need to go.

Hey Tnap! This is the kit i will be using:

Skyjacker JC31BKH

Has shocks, front and rear springs, reuses mostly OE stuff, and only needs to drill one hole.

Tnap, (and fromohio) I'm not trying to knock anyone's choice in lifts. I realize that not everyone has the money to buy mid to higher end stuff and must stay on a strict budget. But that is all the more reason not to **** away your hard-earned money, so I think this bears stating...

Do not waste your time with Add-a-Leaf kits or lift blocks. I think you'll find that the overwhelming community consensus is that you'll soon regret that choice. Cherokee springs are known to suffer from sag over time as it is, and using an add-a-leaf kit will be a temporary solution at best. Seriously, I think most of us will tell you you're better off with a cheap kit with full springs, than a more expensive kit with add-a-leaf.

It's only a $150 more than the kit referenced above to get a Rusty's 3" kit with full spring packs. A Zone Off Road 3" kit with full springs is about $500. You can get a Rubicon Express (great quality) 3" kit with full spring packs and twin tube shocks from Serious Off Road for about $620, and that's a kit that will last a long time and that you'll most likely be very happy with. Please trust me when I say you won't regret waiting a bit, saving up a bit more, and getting all new springs.

Think of it this way... Does it make sense to buy a crappy TV with a terrible picture that is pretty well known to crap out in 2 years for $200, or buy a quality TV with a great picture that will likely last for 10 years for $350?
