Hey everyone, 2001 Cherokee Sport. Finally put new 15" wheels and Goodrich TKO tires on and the front left tire is rubbing when I turn. Not real bad just enough to leave "witness" marks on the plastic bumper where it wraps around the wheel well. (am I explaining it right) Anyway I love the tires and I think the rubbing is because these tires have a "shoulder" more so than other tires. What can I do besides lifting the whole thing?
Can I add spacers or something to the springs?
I would post pix here but I can't figure out how to post pix from my computer on this site. If you can tell me that I would appreciate it also.

Thanks.
Terri

Some careful trimming of the bumper will take care of the problem.

What size are the tires and lift? If lifted, do you have an adjustable track bar?

There is no telling why, the bumper could be tweaked a little.

your axle not being centered.would cause only one. Adjustable track bar is the fix

not sure why his axle would not be centered when he's stock height right now. I don't see that being the issue

This happened with mine. Mainly rubbed on the driver's side, and a little saw blade and about ten minutes of my time took care of it. Just hack it off. Cheapest solution.

Adj. Track Bar and Adj. U/L CA's will give you a lot of leeway for adjustments to the front differential along with trimming. I have all of them done and at times still when flexing the rear rubs a little.

Wait until they wear down a bit and don't turn at full lock as much as possible. If it's really annoying then trim or downsize your tires.

I had the same issue and just trimmed the little tiny piece of plastic that was causing it to rub.

Thanks everyone, looks like we'll be trimming it off. Truck is stock, not lifted. I think just one side is rubbing because a truck backed into me and pushed the metal in on the side just by the headlight. Not a bad wreck just a large truck moving slow pushed it in enough that it moved the left front quarter.
