Default New Tires (Different Look)

I have the 1996 Cherokee SE I am looking to have the tires & wheels extended farther then the body of the car. I don't have a lift kit and don't want one. Which size tire and wheel do I need?

wider tires to start but at stock height 235/75 or 30x9.50 is as big as you can go without trimming. but if you want the tires to stick out from the fenders look into either new wheels with wider backspacing or get wheel spacers

Will I need a new brake set up? This is the message I got after punching in my tire size change via www.1010tires.com ----> "Warning! When changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure." I have decided to go with 30x9.50R15 with 15x8 wheels with a 4.75 backspacing. Will everything go together accordingly?

15x8 wheels with 4" BS will get you outside of the fender flares and are not too crazy or stupid looking.

No you won't need a new brake setup. If you look at my pictures, my XJ wheels have 4" backspacing, to give you an idea of how far they stick out. They are almost flush with the fender flares.

4" BS for the win and no you will not need a brake upgrade. At 4.5" and 33's I do not have a brake upgrade and it works just fine. I am however in the process of adding ZJ rear disc brakes for a little better stopping power.
