Ha I had the same problem with that guy. But with $765 of my money. Ended up getting less than half of the money owed to me back. He still has $415 of my money. Over it though. More hassle than it's worth. Close to impossible to get in contact with that guy

 

To those that have money owed to them, print out all your evidence and take him to small claims court in your state. Should only cost you under $50 in fees, and most of the time if he doesnt show up the case is automatically ruled in your favor.

You still might not get your money, but it will be on his record and will ding his credit.

 

When it comes to small claims court if you live in one state and the party you are buying from lives in another state and has no physical presence in your state then you must sue them in there state , that's costly for you to have to travel there and back. In my case he is in Oregon and I just found out that I can sue him in civil court using a lawyer that would cost him a lot more I just have to find a lawyer to do it.

 

Chris lives near me and I can say I'm not really shocked this happened. There's been other problems as well and the quality or work on his bumpers are poor. I will say his sliders are nice.

Me too. It sucks to see people getting screwed. It seems like more and more of these "fab" shops are popping up and it makes me want to puke. 90% of them seem to be dirt bags with a HF welder. Did this dude ever get his money back?
