I ran into similar issues with my Rusty's 4.5" lift kit, I decide to go with H.D. Offroad Engineering - Cherokee Shackle Relocation Brackets to resolve my problem and get the right shackle angle - you will get a better ride and more flex using the relocation brackets.

No, too short. The front of the vehicle is to the left and I can't get the shackle to reach the bolt hole. OME Dakar springs.

When I put mine in, I first did the bolt in the shackle bracket on the body and then used a pry bar against the bracket to lower the spring. (Bring them together)

The driver side went in no problem but the passenger side fought me like crazy. The spring will lengthen when weight is applied.

I had the same problem with mine. I used 2 extra jacks and some ingenuity to finally get them lined up.

I am fairly confident I could get them lined up eventually. My fear is I will go through that effort and my shackle angle will be all wrong. Looks like I may have to order the shackle relocation brackets a few other members have mentioned.

Thumbs up Done!

Ok, project complete! I had to unhook the front end of the leaf spring, bolt in the shackle end, then use a ratchet strap to pull front of the spring forward in order to get the holes to line up. May still have to get the relocation brackets as my shackles are near vertical.

Hah good idea with the ratchet strap. These leafs are definitely short. I've had mine for a while and the shackle angle is still just as bad as the day I installed them.
