Red face New to jeeping

I bought a 1998 Xj it had a 4.5 lift on it. But the back was stock so I started two week ago on this jeep. I bought 4.5" leaf springs, all new rubber bushing all new moog tie rods and ujoints, weel bearing, brake rotors all brake pads, transimisson cooler, rough county shocks, rough county front bumper. I also bough a airintake off a 2000 (not installed yet) that is the question I have for all of you. If I put this on what all do I need to do to get the benefit out of it. This is not a daily driver. I will be towing this behind the motorhome

If you're referring to the actual hose and filter of an intake, there wouldn't be any benefit as I believe your 98 is almost identical to the 00 you have. However, something that would be of great benefit to you is to upgrade your intake manifold to a 99+ (preferably just a 99). The upgrade increases efficiency and throttle response as well as a bit of power I believe.
