Default New Discos rubbing bumper bolt...

Installed my RC discos last night , which look a little long for a 4" lift, but any ways now it is making the sway bar rub the carriage bolt head on my front bumper. I guess I'll just grind the head a little and Maybe away a tiny bit?

How close is it on the other side?

Looks like maybe your sway bar shifted to the passenger side somehow.

It is contacting the same on the other side. I just don't think that those carriage bolts were expected to be used with the sway bay pointing that far up...

Remove the upper mount that mounts the discos into the sway bar. Flip it over so then it is on top of the sway bar rather then on the bottom and then adjust the lenght of the links. That will lower the swaybar so it does not hit. It is pointing up too much right now. Thats what I did when I was at lower lift.

Your sway bar is way too high. Thats the only problem right now.

You sir are a genius ! Sometimes it's right I front of your face. I did install the discos after the my Lcas around 12:30 last night... So I could have been a little worn out.

Genius indeed. It works great, I had it like that for over a year.

I happen to be working at home today and just ran to the garage and fixed! Thanks I was about to send them back . Even like like this they are a lot longer then others. 4-6" lift is like saying I wear a 10-12 shoe. Too big of a variance. But I really liked this style of disco!

Now that I look at it I wander if it might be a bit of a safety issue that they are on top like this. Like maybe the bolt might brake easier since there is no levarage from the top. But then again you could say that when they are mounted the right way there would be no levarage from the bottom on the other side while the Jeep "sways" from side to side while turning. Well it did work for me is all I can say.
