I was thinking about tearing up my carpet and replacing it with rhino liner. Its stuff used for truck bed but i thought it would be a great idea. Only problem is when i went to get it there ways a spray can type and a bucket of paint type. I don't know what one would work better. also i need to know witch would do the job and be cheaper. Or if anyone has any ideas on what i can do with it.

The aresol can spray on's are weak. Best is roll on; like Herculiner, Rhino, or duplicolor. You can spray the roll on with an inexpensive paint sprayer, some come as kits. All those are strong products, but it will probably be a good idea to drop down some metal etcher and POR-15 before lining it. Especially on the rust prone areas; like the front floor pans, under seats, and behind the rear interior molding (right behind the taillight). That place collects and hold water like crazy on most XJ's.
okay thank you! could you give me a website or something to show where i can get this liner! i need the cheapest stuff to! but i need it to work! i do have some areas of rust on the floor under the middle seat. how should i deal with that?

Bust the rust with cup brush on a power drill then paint it. Look at amazon or any parts store for roll on liners. The POR-15 is the best thing around to stop and prevent rust, but the cost is a little up there for a quart and I've heard that if you even get a drop of moisture in it it's ruined.

I bought mine at walmart. bout 61 bucks for both a gallon of rustoleum bed liner and the applicator kit. I went with the roll/paint on. easier to work with IMO.
