Exclamation New calipers leak

Howdy folks, I just installed new Pads, rotors, and brake calipers on my 01 XJ. after filling the system and before bleeding i noticed a slight leak out of each caliper at the brake line. any idea why? I don't think I over tightened the brake line.

Got the little copper washer on there at the caliper side of the brake hose?

and were they clean? No pieces of dirt to keep them from sealing?
Could be as simple as you didnt make them tight enough

Id not try a bottle of Leak Stop.

Try a bit more tighten within torque spec limit..

if still leaks then disassemble the leaky joint, inspect for burrs, dirt, missing gasket if applicable. If new copper gasket was used, maybe it is too hard. Test gasket by dropping on concrete floor. If gasket bounces and rings like a little bell, then it will need to be annealed to soften it. Anneal by heating to red hot on stove burner or torch, once red hot, let it cool. Then drop test on concrete floor.. Gasket if annealed will not bounce much at all, and it will not ring, rather it will make thud sound.
When not annealed, copper is too hard to form into a good seal. Some outfits have shipped un-annealed copper gaskets. I have even run into copper plated steel gaskets, which of course can not be annealed, junk! (a magnet found them fast).

I as a matter of course drop test all copper gaskets for anneal, or simply anneal process them before install. this saves me from dealing with leaks and extra work. ( and run a magnet over them for the counterfeits)
