Hey all,

So I just recently got a 99 Cherokee XJ and I'm looking to start modding it. The first thing I was looking at was a new front bumper. Does anyone have experience with this one in particular?

I really like that it comes with the winch already on it. How difficult would it be to install?

 

Max and the guys at DirtBound are awesome. I have done business with them in the past, nothing but good to say.

However, that bumper does not come with a winch pre installed...don't know where you pulled that from. As far as installation, if you have a socket set, unbolt the old, bolt in the new.

 

Yeah man your not gonna find a new bumper with a winch for any where close to that price.

The winch is easy to mount on the bumper and hook up to the battery, but a good winch will cost at least twice the price of that bumper. You can buy a cheap one for a few hundred dollars, But like a lot of things it's the details that sets the price not just a weight rating.
