Default New Air Intake Advice needed

So I am looking for a cold air intake to run on my jeep or the intake that is a cone not that big bulky box, and before you say dont waste your time it just sucks in water or its not a noticeable hp gain i dont plan on driving my cherokee into a pond and a jeep isnt a ricer, hes faster but I will squash him when I catch him

What I need to know is what brand seems to work out fine
And what prices can I find,
I dont know any reliable websites other than 4wd hardware and they are all about $$

If you know how to build them or know of a tutorial that would help me too

(I have nothing against ricer type of vehicles. I wish I had a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse and I am booming with 2 12" subs in the back of my cherokee )

The reason why the cowl snorkel works so well is because there is a low pressure zone at the bottom of the windshield which forces air into the cowl and thru a cone filter to your throttle body.

I might look farther into that, my only problem would be that I would have this random tube that goes over the engine, I found the supplies in that post to make my own though

I have the spectre intake... its nice. Definitely makes some noise. But its good noise for the most part.

I noticed a difference right away, I wouldn't say its faster but definitely smoother acceleration, probably be better when I get a free-er flowing exhaust. At night the effects are 10x more apparent, I assume because there's cooler air outside. I'd recommend it to anyone, honestly if for no other reason than it takes up almost NO usable room. Gives you a great spot for a second battery in the engine bay.

I also think it gave me better millage didn't figure it before or after but I seemed to get a bit more out of a tank.
