it's streetable. it's all what you're willing to put up with. dont buy jack till you do some serious reading on this forum. I researched for 2 months before I even bought a jeep to build. then another 4 months of research and planning before buying a lift kit

My Jeep is on stock axles on 4.5 lift with 33x12.5 tires. It gets wheeled preety agresively (I know thats subjective, but for what it is I think it gets its butt kicked) and it drives fine on the road. Check out my pics to see if that setup could work for your needs. I could daily drive it anywhere.

And as far as recomendations, I recommend against RC lift.

if you are gonnna drive it every day then a 3.5 with 31s is perfect. its plenty capable offroad as well. i have had my xj for about 4 months now and i just search the internet for information.
