Default Needs some help with a SYE driveshaft.

I put my sye in and the factory front Cherokee shaft has about. 1/2" before it's fully extended and I'm thinking this isn't gonna be enough. I have the S10 springs which are pretty stiff. Would I be able to drive the jeep for the week til I'm able to find a longer shaft? I measured at ride height and full droop and the distance only changes about a 1/16-1/8". TIA.

Bad news for me, put the shaft in and there is maybe 1/8" left til it's fully extended. Would it bad to drive in 4wd with the rear shaft out for a few days?

I was told it was a 2000. It measured 28.5" collapsed. From yoke to yoke im right around 34". I didnt even put the spacers back in and the transfer case drop is still in.

Yeah Im gonna call the JY tomorrow and give em a list of the years with em and tell em I need a 30-30.5" collapsed length. its not worth having it retubed when they are under a $100 at the JY.

So whats the verdict driving with no rear driveshaft? I figure it should be ok for a few days, maybe just hurt gas mileage.
