I've been reading up on exhaust alot lately. How loud are you thinking you want your rig to be? IMO flowmaster 40s are too loud and drone bad, same goes for any kind of glass pack. All my buddies think its cool being the loudest car around but I'd rater but subtle but there. I was leaning towards a flowmaster 50.

As far as manifolds go, APN seems to be the best rated/reviewed for aftermarket manifolds. I was leaning towards true header but all big name brand headers are $350+ and its not worth spending that for a 4.0 because the gain isn't there. I am still going back and forth but most likely will go with a pacesetter header because it is 3-2-1 and comes with a downpipe. If you really wanted to go the extra mile you could get it ceramic coated.

I was cheap and went to pepboys and got a glasspack for like 40 bucks and welded it in myself. I'm satisfied with the sound I get from it although it doesn't sound as sweet as open exhaust. I like how it sounds as if I had a upgraded cam with open exhaust.

I'm thinking I'll go with an APN header to high performance Cat and thrust turbo or flowmaster of some sort, I gotta look into te sounds and all.

What does everybody think about thrush? Good sound?
