Need some help please!!
I have 98 cherokee ive had for a couple yrs now it came with the lift and everything alrdy installed so im not sure what everything is.I was told it was a rough country lift...anyways I need new tie rod ends and I have no clue which ones I need...I herd gm one tons were popular with the lifted jeeps...I have a couple pics to look at....also I have a lot of sloppyness in my steering...would the drop pitman arm have anything to do with it?...thanks

That looks like a JCR under the knuckle steering set up. I think they use stock chevy tie rod ends. If that is the case you should be able to pick them up at any parts store. Just take them in and compare them.

That also looks like Rusty's One ton setup which uses CJ ends- I agree with Marc, just take them in and compare.

I recant my last statement. It is not rusty's (where the drag link meets tie rod is different)

ya pretty sure thats the chevy setup... if you get them from a parts store spend the extra for the Moogs... they are heavier and stronger then the other cheap OEM like brands...

100% agree with what he said. Get the Moogs. They are worth the extra couple of bucks.
