I have a 97 xj with a 6.5 lift and 33s its also a five speed which I heard u don't need a tc drop? Check me on that but my question is would it be a good idea to install a half inch or 1 inch leaf spring space block to go 7-7.5 little. buddy of mines getting a 6.5 with 33s and I have to keep it a little bigger lol as far as the blood is I can make them so no worries and most other things I could make

Go 35s and upgrade axles! I wouldn't do blocks if that was my only choice!

Blocks suck, and if your on short arms and 6.5 inches of lift your setup already sucks. 7.5 inches of lift is overkill in the first place. Manual jeeps have a crossmember that has a small drop already incorporated into it. At 6.5 inches Im surprised your not getting vibes, 7.5 inches I wouldnt consider anything other than a SYE.

bro I used to run a tire that was 33 1/3" tall on 3.25"

why in the world do you think you think you need so much lift, is it because you refuse to run longer bump stops?

lol, beat him by being low, I wanna see at least 38-40 on 7"

or 33s on 3" or less

I myself am thinking about going back to 3", maybe even 2"

if I stay where I am I am thinking maybe 36-38 and some big dog axles

I would run 35s on 6.5 and would never have a reason to go to 7.5. If you want a bigger rig then get some bigger rubbers.

Well, it sounds to me like the man is just trying to 1-up his buddy, doesn't matter to him about tire size, he just wants to be lifted more than his buddy is.

I would say do a lift shackle long before I'd do a lift block. That'd be the cheapest and quickest way to eek out a bit more lift.

Lets see some pics of this thing too...
