Default Need new ball joints

Hey guys, I’m a little new to upgrading my Jeep but I am trying to pick things up as I go! I just figured out after installing a 4.5 inch lift kit on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee that I get extreme death wobble at about 45 miles an hour... So I did what anybody else would do and got to crawling around under my Jeep and sure enough I got some shot ball joints under there. I have been looking around but I can’t really find any at a good price. Any suggestions and if you have done this maybe some tips? Thank you!

What's a good price? The actual OEM Dana ones are like $60 a side (comes as a kit of the upper and lower) on Rockauto. Mevotech HD ones are a little less per side (come individual).

If that's too much, sell your Jeep now.

That’s a good price, I was looking and found a couple like 80 bucks a pair and stuff. I was just looking to see if anyone knew of any cheaper ones! This Jeep is a build in process to be a badass rig so I ain’t never selling it gonna keep it till I literally can’t get it to start and run lol

Get Spicer ball joints that's what the factory uses.

X2 on the Spicers ! Check eBay! I have seen both sides as low as $96 shipped !!! I have plenty of time. I sit around and cross-reference part numbers. Then you can figure out which vehicles use the same BJ. Then I do a search for Spicer BJs for each vehicle till I find the best price. Saves me a bunch of money ! Just last week, I got the long ZJ tie rod for $24 shipped. I also got one of the other Spicer tie rods for $11.95 shipped !!!

Keep in mind Dana/Spicer has more than one line of parts, and my $60/side quote was for the best ones and did not include applying the 5% discount everyone gets at Rockauto. But yes, there probably is better prices out there, but for the $20 difference just order it up and don't look back... But my time might be worth more to me.

(I also converted the currency of them in my head, so YMMV as I have Rockauto in CND and won't change it)

Depends what a good price is. MOOG and a few other brands at Auto Zone or Advance I believe come with Lifetime Warranties, so that's good. I run Alloy USA joints which were most expensive but have held up great.

Spicers are also solid.
