Those are ton axles I believe, that's a serious upgrade. Although SUPER awesome, don't think it's cost effective for your situation. Also check the build threads they have tonna info you don't have to wait on a reply for it's already there waiting. Dig dig dig both in the jy and the forum.

I think for you you oughta be going back for a d30 and maybe 8.25 29spl for the rear. Doesn't sound like you want to invest a bunch of cash

money isnt a issue for me and i have a 8.25 now and is a lot of play in the yoke. my mechanic said its unsafe to drive but i dont listen to him cuz i havent died yet driving it but my dad believes him and wants it fixed or sold. i think just to make him not sell ill go and get a new d30 and 8.25 this weekend and put it in to make it "safe" and then upgrade later.

Try and find a 8.25 out of a 97 or newer because it will have the 29 spline shafts verses 27. What's wrong with your front axle?

Either rebuild them or get a Waggy Dana 44 for the front and a Ford 9'' in the rear i believe the 9'' doesnt require any cutting of the spring perch??

The 9" out of a '78-'79 bronco will fit right in, but there is some serious fab work to fit the matching d44 in! The op doesn't want a year long project/crawler build! FAIL lol
