Hello I'm planing on upgrading my steering box. My question is that where do you think would be the best place to purchase a NEW durango steering box. I thought about checking out napa but I figured I would ask here first. Anyone have a source online?
Thanks

Rock Auto has an A1-Cardone reman steering gear for $124 with a $100 core, not worth risking your safety as well as the safety of those around you getting wearable steering or brake parts from the JY to save a few bucks imho. A1-Cardone is gonna be what you get most likely if you go to a parts store to get it anyway, might be labeled as another brand, but A1 probably did the actual rebuilding of the part.
I bought Durango steering box from Advance ($100), it had too much free play, I returned it and got another one.
Too much free play again, so I had to adjust it. Lost warranty, but now it works fine.
What is problem with yours?
you can replace input and output seals.
