Need or dont need list, Rusty's piece together suspenison parts.
Hi there. I already have a BB 2 inch lift on my Xj currently.
I'm making an list of parts I might need to make my own piece together suspension. I'm looking to do 4.5 inch lift. Maybe a 6.5 all together with my current BB. Depends on what else I need if I wanted to do 6.5 instead.
I need to know if I pretty much covered with what I will need or don't need. I'm going with mostly Rusty's.
4.5 Inch front coil springs
4.5 Inch rear full pack leaf springs
U-bolt HD grade 8 for my 8.25 rear axle
U-bolt plates
Front bump stops
Rear bump stops
Upper and lower adjustable control arms
Adjustable track bar
Rusty's 4.5 inch shocks
Extended brake lines
JKS quick disconnects
Transfer case drop kit
Rear sawy bar links (maybe because I tow sometimes?)
Is there anything else I need?

I doubt you'll need to work about those rear sway bar links, b/c the pack will be much stiffer than a standard one but you decide on that. I couldn't tell a difference with it off.
The bump stops aren't going to be that straight forward, that has more to do with tire size and fender clearance. I'm at 4.5" and have quite a custom setup to bump out my 32's with stock flares.
If your truck is an automatic that TC drop might not solve all your vibration issues. Adding a slightly longer shackle or degree shims to the rear will help that pinion angle. For reference, I'm running a 3" full pack with a 1.5" shackle to gain this pinion change without running shims. I have absolutely no vibrations at any speed but mine is also a 5-speed so my transmission is shorter than yours (meaning the angles aren't as drastic).
Hope this helped.
