Default need advice on towing with my XJ

Hey guys well I've decided to go in a new direction with my xj and now need advice. I will be flat towing a older 2300lbs VW with my xj and also a pop up camper and need advice on gearing, transmission coolers and what ever else I will need. I live in pretty much a flat area and most towing will be on flat land but do have a few mountains that I have to go over to get home so any help would be great.

Car and camper at the same time? You're better off buying a truck. But for one or the other, 3.73 gears were Chrysler's go-to for the 4.0/auto tow pack. Get the biggest cooler available regardless of towing, AW4s are HOT!

At stock height on stock tires all you should need is a tranny cooler and 75w-140 gear oil in the rear end.

The pop camper maybe depending the weight the car on a car trailer i wouldn't even try with a xj.Over 3k you need trailer brakes and controler on the jeep and depends the class hitch you have also.

I've towed a 12ft box pop up all over with mine. Just don't use overdrive much especially on hills you should be fine with the camper. The vw I can't say how it would do.

I'm not gonna tow both at the same time and I'm gonna tow the vw on its own without a trailer. My issue is my xj is on 32x11.50s and has a heavy rear tire carrier and I'm trying to figure out if I should just go 4.56 or if 4.10s would work as for the transmission I ordered a b&m super cooler last night I'm just hoping its enough.

I agree with the others 100% with getting a Tranny cooler , Asfar as gearing running a 32 you are in between 31's (4.10's ) and 33's (4.56) I would just go to 4.56 incase you decide to get bigger tires and the deeper gears will help when towing
