I am about done with the dual battery set up and at the point of getting a battery. I ran across a deal for 2x 3478 napa legend 84 month batteries for $50. Would this battery be good to power an inverter, lights and backup for starting?
thank you

my father in law has been a napa guy his whole life and always makes comments about me not getting my parts from napa sometimes. He will not buy their batteries any longer. he is under the impression that their last contract for private label batteries have been crap. he went through 3 batteries in his grand cherokee in 2 months with the first one being completely dead, all cells. the second lasted a week before it failed and the third was about a month. Might just be his experience, but to me, him not buying napa batteries will keep me away from them for a long time no matter what the cost was. i think the icing on the cake was getting to watch him go buy a gold top from auto zone, he hates auto zone haha

I've been using AutoZone premium batteries for about 8 years now except for my Optima batteries (also sold there) that I use for backup for my amateur radio station at home quite a bit of draw. I use wind and solar power to keep 6 of the largest ones charged and must have a charge controller.
The Optima really are the best choice for what you want to do with them. What you want to look at is the "reserve capacity" of the battery "NOT" the CCA for what you want, most all at the parts stores guys will have no idea when you ask about the reserve cap. and that my friend is what is important to you.
