My DIY injector flush pic, Post your set ups!
Got my 784's in the mail yesterday, Did a injector flush on my own to make sure everything was working with them. Heres my set up, post yours! For power, I just rigged 2 wires to get power to the injectors, pushed the alcohol thru them, and they sprayed clean. cant wait to get them in. someone I know just did it to an older xj, and it definetly made a difference. I drive a 2000 and it seems to run pretty smooth already.

I drive a 2000 also which vehicle would have those injectors in them? Also how exactly did you flush the injectors? I really been wanting to do this to mine for a while but I don't know enough to do it

yea, just make sure you got the rubber covers on em so they dont cross power and ground. i had a battery laying around with a connector that actually happened to fit on the plug on my injector. it was an old battery from a portable suction unit or something, but it plugged right in. i believe you only need 9 volts for it to open up.

Finished this two days ago, but here's the setup I used. I was unable to find syringes with the time I had, nor small tubing
- small tub for catching fluid, let injectors soak in SeaFoam for several days in this as well
- injector stand bent out of a coat hanger
- old injector O rings
- 9 VDC adapter from work (there were 12s as well but this thing read 13V with no load on my multimeter so figured I'd play it safe)
- SPST momentary switch interrupting +9VDC from adapter
- EV6 connector from JY
- crapload of electrical tape, all wire is from the wallwart
- 1/2" clear vinyl tubing, pretty maleable stuff, slips over the old O-rings easily
- 1/2" barb to 1/2" MIP, 1/2" FIP to 3/8" barb, added a small hose clamp due to a leak at pressure (SeaFoam in the face for the lose)
- 3/8" clear vinyl tubing
- Pump assembly from a general purpose $2 spray bottle (actual bottle broke lol)
Was blasting carb cleaner and naptha through these and they misted up pretty good, I did a few cleans with SeaFoam (backflush first) so that I could actually see if all 4 holes were moving fuel. The SeaFoam was thick enough I could see the individual streams.
Not pictured are misc screw drivers, Dremel with a plastic wire brush, tooth brush, Seafoam, carb cleaner, naptha, electrical contact cleaner, Q-tips, and a whole roll's worth of dirty paper towel from when I accidentally tipped the whole thing
