Muffler question
I want my Jeep to sound a little louder and throatier then it does now with my wonderful stock cat and Autozone muffler and pipes. If I remove my muffler, I assume it will make it a bit louder? I don't want to be deaf, or illegal though.
I don't want to buy a new setup, just wondering about removing the muffler.
Any advice is appreciated!

not loud but its not as quiet as stock either

I just put a Flowmaster super 40 on mine the other day (cat back), it sounds very good, I have the stock cat on for now but plan on puttin a magnaflow cat on soon, that should make it sound a little deeper than it does right now. I'm very happy with the resualts i got.

I removed my catalytic converter and muffler and threw on a thrush "cherry bomb" style glass pack. my XJ runs better now and has gotten a bit louder over time. Cheap, sounds decent, and fits in the old muffler/cat spot perfectly. I'm sure either choice will be worth the time and money to you.

Thanks. I think they would be worth it too just I don't want it to have that ricey sound. That's the only reason why I'm so hesitant to get one and witch one I will get.
