Muffler + GlassPack?
Hi there,
I've just ordered a Borla ProXS muffler for my XJ, it has a 14" case length. But now I'm afraid it would be too noisy for a DD, and I'm worrying about drone issue. So I'm thinking of throwing a glasspack right before the muffler to take care of the noise and drone
Do you guys think it's a good idea?
Thanks in advance

Honestly, if you do the tialpipe properly the cab drone won't be bad at all. My XJ's straight piped with the stock CAT and the noise doesn't bug me at all. come to think of it, i can't even hear the exhaust over my cowl intake now. So that muffler will do fine.

No. Dont do that. Borla is a quality muffler. They are designed specifically NOT to drone. They usually have a fairly "controlled " sound. Glasspacks are usually only good if you just want a cheap, loud, free flowing setup. Just the borla should be just fine
