Alright, so i want to move my speakers from the front doors and put them on the ceiling above the rear seats. My friend has this, but i haven't seen him to ask him. I was just wonder what kinda wiring i would have to do, how much wiring, how to make the box for the speakers, etc.

So your looking to do something like in a newer xj? My '00 is like that, about right in the middle of the back area.

What year is yours? Maybe you could find like a '96 sound bar that goes in that spot.

Go to the junkyard and pull a speaker bar from a newer xj

 

Exactly. Do you have an after market deck, then you can.just run wires straight from the deck.

 

Also if you have a Tractor Supply Store near you, they sell these boxes that hold speakers to your ceiling.

 

I do and id just sodder/connect it to the deck?

yes go get the box from a jy and in stead of running wires from the radio look in the quarter panel on the back driver side i did the same to my 85 xj

 

you can splice into the wires that are run for the back speakers that are in your lift gate
