Have you confirmed your oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? If you have pressure then that means that oil is circulating as normal. How long is this "period of time"?

there is always an option of an (accusump), it is a device simliar to a water pressure tank in a house, normaly designed for racing applications, where oil could be starved due to cornering forces, then when your pressure drops, this feeds oil back to your engine, to keep you from starving your bearings.

I believe it changes on steep angles because the "puddle" of oil at the bottom of the oil pan gets displaced...but I have always just assumed that
