Have you confirmed your oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? If you have pressure then that means that oil is circulating as normal. How long is this "period of time"?

there is always an option of an (accusump), it is a device simliar to a water pressure tank in a house, normaly designed for racing applications, where oil could be starved due to cornering forces, then when your pressure drops, this feeds oil back to your engine, to keep you from starving your bearings.

Depends on how long it is that way. I have heard of no issues under "normal" wheeling circumstances of damaging the engine due to this. I have been running for about 5 minutes on very steep angles, reading zero oil pressue, and have not had an issue yet.

I believe it changes on steep angles because the "puddle" of oil at the bottom of the oil pan gets displaced...but I have always just assumed that

you have nothing to worry about unless you end up on your side really and keep it running
