I have these in my 2000 xj.. take it this a modification on cradle or use diff cradles??? Welded all 1 peice... cant find them or stock anywhere??? ALSO ANY IDEAS ON GOOD MOUNTS? THOUGHT IRO OR MAYBE BACK STOCK IF I CAN FIND THEM!

sinc e the stock ones lasted 14 years, i went w/ NAPA premium.

 

I just put in some brown dog motor mounts. All I can say is amazing... they changed my ride dramatically from the broken stock ones i had.

 

Those look like the 4 cyl 2.5 liter mounts

 

Those 2.5 mounts are a bit harder to find but I would look for another set of the OEM's and check the trans mounts also to see how bad they are. Try the jeep specialty houses and parts shops online for them.

 

They are... so i guess i have to get my angle grinder and cut them from the cradle? Or is there another cradle or ?

 

Ok i will check around. Im replacing every mount on the jeep also. THANKS.

No don't cut anything. Should be a direct swap.

 

Its a direct swap if i get the oem cradle and mount together.. there welded together not bolted ..its 1 peice. Kinda crappy ..so i either find the oem cradle/engine mount or i fab up somthing..

 

I'd say brown dogs but I had to take mine off...although I did have the prothene bushings and they made a hell of a difference at take off and even going into gears...they were just very vibey. I did a lot of daily driving duties in the Comanche and couldn't stand it...so I went back to oe..

 

IRO mounts are on my list.

 

Brown Dog nor Iron Rock makes mounts for the 2.5 liter.

 

Did you mean "or" or "nor"? BD makes 2.5 mounts.
