Modifying IRO longarms into true 3 link?
Has any one cut the top radius link/caster adjuster/iro gusset off and ran a separate upper link with the iro long arms? I don't see reason why you couldn't do it...there seems to be plenty of room for another link and a frame side bracket. I wouldn't think any structural support on the lower link would be lost either.
I got iro kit new for basically free a while ago so i ran it. I'm in the middle of a waggy 44 swap so I'm thinking about changing it up while I'm here.
Any input appreciated.

I've thought about that also. But personally I think the iro crossmember is pretty decent so i'd want to build off of that.
