I want to lift my 1996 xj! I have read many forums and websites and think I know how I want to go about it just need reaffirmed that I haven't made a mistake or left anything out. my goal is to 3 stage it out over the next year mostly so that I can afford the parts easier. Please let me know your thoughts and opinions!
Stage 1: shackles (1.5-2" adjustable), spacers 1.5", bump stops, and shocks. I was planning on Bilstein 4.5" 5100 series but eventually might be hitching a boat trailer so not sure if I should jump up from that
Stage 2: 3" OME springs, 3" BDS leafs, extended brake lines lowered pitman arm, slip yoke eliminator, and either cheapest or homebrew control arm drop brackets( temporary solution), 31"'s on 15x 10.5's
Stage 3: sway bars, chassis stiffener, and long arm conversion
Most of these items I planned to get from JKS, and BDS unless I specified above
