Does anyone make the metal tail light housings for the 97+ XJ's? I'm kind of wanting to go with some LED's. I was gonna (but never got around to it) buy the JCR but they are no longer sold.
Option 2, spend some time in the school's machine shop and build my own. I'm just trying to save some time and effort by not building them.

Only ones i know of are made in to quarter panel armor. If you paint them body color they will blend in http://www.jcroffroad.com/mm5/mercha...e=XJ-RUPGRD-97
I would just make them, it's such a simple design and you can make them look however you want. I'm planning on making metal ones, there just not worth what people are asking for them when all it takes is a little time and effort.
I'm plannin' on having a buddy of mine make these up for me. They'll be taller than stock, so they can fit all the LED's in. I have the LED's but haven't gotten to my buddy's shop yet.

LED's

Issues I've run into are the LED's are not flush mounts, so I'll have them recessed and then there'll be "flush plate" to give it a finish look & won't have to worry about them being torn off on the trails. - - or that's what I'm planning on - -

Yea. I've got access to a full machine shop (I could have them milled with a CNC if I really wanted) at school I just didn't want to put the time into designing it all because I probably wont have the time to do it until August rolls around.
