mech fan delete, quick question
I'm going to put my new (to me) 99' e-fan alongside my stock e-fan. It will be on a toggle switch and I'm going to leave the stock fan stock to turn on and off as it pleases, but should I use my relay on the new one to turn on with the a/c? I've found a write-up that I can follow very easily to wire it.

I would personally wire it to stay on whenever the engine is running. Your mechanical fan runs like that so your new e-fan should too. The e-fan on it is relayed so that it comes on when the engine is getting hot or the a/c is on.
If you put it on a switch, you'll end up turning it on all the time anyway so may as well just wire it up to the ignition.

Comes on when the ignition is on and it keeps everything cool. And I don't have to remember anything.

It has an adjustable thermostat also. So it doesn't have to be on at all times, you can have it come on when it gets warmed up. It also has a wire to splice into a manual control switch or the AC system, so it can be controlled two different ways.

That's how I'd do it.
Adjustable thermostat to control it, switch override. Definitely get adjustable or one that will turn on when about tstat opens, 195-200, and shuts off if it goes below 185-190 or something.
Also, there will probably be an area between the two efans that you need to fill to get the best out of it.
I'll seen if I can find the write up I bookmarked.

i run twin stock e fans with the mech fan delete. i have one hooked up so that it is on at all times and the other is on a switch so if i ever need it i just turn it on. i never go over 210 with just one running.
