Max tires to fit a 2" Lift
Hey guys.
I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee with what I'm told is a 2" lift (PO did the lift). I have 31-10.50 R15 tires on right now. I just got a free set of Bridgestone 265/70R17 tires that have at most 1000 miles on them. If I got 17 inch rims, would these tires work? I think they'd fit the wheel well fine but I'd worry about how much clearance I would lose between tires and the body and how bad the rubbing would be when turning.

Go to 1010tires.com and use the tire size calculator. It will tell the all the dimensions you need to know. Off the top of my head a 265.70.17 will be about 1/2" bigger in overall diameter.
